Let Mathew Fante Consulting help you understand and implement the

NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework

In a move to provide a nationally consistent approach to renewing existing providers and registering new providers all new and existing NDIS providers will be required to meet the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework (NQSF). The administration of the NQSF and in particular provider registration and renewal will be administered by the Commonwealth through the NDIS Commission. The key features of the Commission’s responsibilities include:

Provider registration including quality assurance

A complaint handling system

Serious incident notification

Restrictive practice oversight

Investigation and enforcement

Whilst having a nationally consistent approach for provider registration and renewal is overall very positive it has created confusion and frustration among service providers who once again find themselves having to navigate a complex series of questions, self-assessments and having to prepare brand new policies and procedures to meet the new NDIS Practice Standards. Service providers now have to find time to meet these additional requirements within already heavy workloads and competing priorities.

Whether it’s a renewal or a new registration this is where Mathew Fante Consulting can assist. We have supported numerous new and existing providers in NSW and SA through NDIS Commission registration and renewal process with outstanding success.
